We are currently looking to fill the following roles at our office near London Gatwick.


We are looking to expand our team with an experienced, self-motivated Commercial Charter Broker to join our friendly charter broker team. 

Reporting to the Sales Director, you will be an integral part of the Smart Aviation sales team. We are a dynamic company, trading in a challenging environment; we pride ourselves on providing quick thinking, innovative Aircraft Charter solutions for our customers. Smart is a place where successful salespeople are rewarded for their efforts.

You will build up your own client base of customers, so you must have the ability and confidence to find and nurture new aircraft charter buiness; whether its HNWI, corporate clients, sports industry tours, government contracts or tour operating. 

About you:

  • A minimum of 2 years experience in aviation as a charter broker, or similar position.
  • Experience in managing relationships on a global level. 
  • High level of commercial awareness.
  • Great customer service skills.
  • Excellent negotiation / communication skills. 
  • High degree of computer literacy; including Microsoft applications such as Word, Excel, Outlook and Sage's Act database system. 
  • Good time management skills.
  • A strong team player

As Smart Aviation continues to grow we are looking for an outstanding Account Executive to join the team and help us to continue our impressive growth convincing and on-boarding new customers in the UK, Europe and beyond.


  • Handling new business enquiries that have been generated through our web site and our in-house lead generator.
  • Convert inbound leads and referrals working predominantly over the phone and via email as well as face to face contact.
  • Meet and exceed your new business targets.
  • Deliver an exceptional customer experience so clients return.
  • Identify and explore new opportunities with existing customers.
  • Maintain a record of all customer interactions via our internal CRM system.

About You:

  • You thrive on new business and converting prospects into accounts.
  • You have experience in a similar sales role, converting leads and sourcing new business, but not necessarily with an aviation background.
  • You have a passion for wanting to do the best for the customer.
  • You thrive in a team environment and are ready to roll-up your sleeves.
  • You have impressive communication skills, build rapport naturally and are confident when dealing with people face to face and via email and telephone.
  • Have a general interest in the wonderful world of aircraft and aviation.
